Chills with hard surface and tough core, good machinability, cold work steel

Applicability

Mounting plates and rails for plastic moulds, blow and foaming forms with only little requirements as to grounding qualities, all kinds of manual and agricultural tools

Supply

Length 500 and 1030 mm with machining allowance, in plate form with square cross section and square dimensions, soft annealed, max. 207 HB (max. 700 N/mm2)

 

 

Heat Treatment Data Stress-relief annealing 600 - 650 °C

Soft annealing 680 - 710 °C

Hardening 800 - 830 °C

Quenching Water, oil Tempering 160 - 300 °C
